What’s behind the 3 Point Multi Tool?
As an outdoor enthusiast, it is inevitable that the time will come when nature calls and you will need to “do your business in the woods”.
After years of cycle touring, backpacking and overlanding, it became apparent to me that squatting in the woods is much more difficult and uncomfortable than it needs to be. For me, I would experience pain in my back, shaking thighs and just an overall feeling of stress when the time came. You may have experienced these feelings too.
Why isn’t there something in the marketplace to assist us in doing what comes naturally? Upon research, I discovered that there are few options out there, and none that offer an array of benefits that would tackle the needs at hand.
With the principles of Leave No Trace and sustainability in mind, I originally designed and created the 3 Point Multi Tool to help take the strain away, providing a support to put under one leg when nature calls.
Eventually, the tool evolved to become a multi-purpose tool that acts as a two-handed powerful digging trowel, a hammer for tent pegs and a pick/pry bar for digging and prying out tent pegs.
It is locally manufactured and constructed of a lightweight aluminum, powder coated in a highly visible, bright hunter orange.
